In fact, there’s nothing wrong with putting your picture on this page as well. Include information on you and your company that helps the visitor better understand how you can help them solve their problems or accomplish their objectives. Tell them things that would get them interested in doing business with you.

The About Us page can be one of the simplest and shortest pages on your web site. But it can also be on of the most challenging to write. I think it's because talking about ourselves is difficult for most people. We don't like to blow our own horn. But blow it you must if you are to establish credibility. Think of it this way.  If you don't do it, who will?

Why This Is Important

It's important because it's the first impression.  That alone should be enough to make you want it to be spectacular. And it will be if you write about the spectacular things you do. Spectacular doesn't mean grandiose gestures.  It means things that you do that your good at.  It helps if you enjoy them too.

What should Be On This Page

On your About Us page you may include information on any or all of the following topics. How you got into doing what you do.

• What interests, even fascinates you about your field? 
• What are some contributions you've made to your profession theories, articles, and books? 
• What are some of your proudest achievements as a professional? 
• What are some big things you've accomplished for clients? 
• What's your working philosophy and approach to working with clients?

 There are many questions that will need to be answered once we get started with this project.
